The O-ring of the faucet can also cause water leakage![]()

The kitchen faucet has one or more O-rings to prevent water from flowing out around the outlet. If the O-ring is worn, you will see water flowing out at the bottom of the outlet every time you turn on the faucet. The following are the tools required to replace the O-ring: adjustable wrench, water pipe joint tape, and replaced O-ring. Steps to replace O-ring: 1. Turn off the water supply, rotate counterclockwise and remove the fixing Steps for replacing O-ring: 1. Turn off the water supply, rotate counterclockwise and remove the threaded coupling nut that secures the water outlet. Be sure to wrap the nut with tape to prevent it from being scratched by pliers or wrenches. 2. After removing the connecting nut, lift the water outlet upwards and remove it from the water outlet seat. You can see these rings inside the water outlet seat. 3. Replace the faulty ring with a new one of the exact same size. Reinstall the faucet. |
